Review

This review applies to version 2.1 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

QuizFaber 2.10 is a program to create multimedia quizzes in HTML with a JavaScript, embedded in the HTML page.

You can create quizzes with multiple answers, telling the program which of them can be right, or make question to be answered by true or false. You can also include questions with an open answer, indicated in a text box.

QuizFaber is also useful to prepare gap filling exercises (those where you must fill in the blanks) or matching words.

You can associate a Hint and/or a remark for each proposed answer.

By default, the program will give the student 30 seconds to answer the test, but this can be modified easily.

Also the HTML pages can be personalized in many ways: background colors, images, sounds to be played, images or sounds joined to every question or answer.

QuizFaber produces quizzes in Croatian, Dutch, English, French, Galicien, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Rumanian, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.

It will create an HTML quiz with a JavaScript embedded, that will present the quiz to the student, offering to answer the questions, telling him if the answer is correct, measuring the elapsed time and scoring the answers.
Advantages
  • It´s a useful and easy to use free tool for creating quizzes.
Disadvantages
  • None.
